Who should attend the forum?
Agency/Organization Program Coordinators (A/OPCs), Approving Officials, Billing Officials, Inspector General staff, Financial, Resource or Budget personnel and other agency officials who manage the purchase, travel, fleet and integrated business lines of the GSA SmartPay charge card program. The training presented at this forum is NOT intended for cardholders.

How do I register for the forum?
Registration for the 2016 GSA SmartPay Training Forum is now closed as of June 28 and we are now over capacity. Please note there is no waiting list for the forum.

At this time, all replacements will be handled on-site at the training forum. The individual must provide an email (hard copy/print out) from the original attendee confirming the replacement.

What are the fees?

What is the dress code?
Attire for all sessions will be business casual. You may want to bring a light jacket or sweater, since the temperature in each meeting room varies.

Where can I get a wheelchair or motorized scooter?
To rent a motorized scooter or wheel chair, please contact Swift Wheels by calling 877-463-4809, or by visiting their website at and completing the Reservation Form. After you have placed your order, please contact the front desk at the hotel to inform them that there will be a delivery for you.

Electric Scooters - $105-$125 (3-day rental) and $135-$165 (5-day rental)
Wheelchairs - $75 (4-day rental) and $85 (5-day rental)

There is no delivery charge if ordered 48 hours in advance.

What is Navy/USMC Day?
The purpose of the Navy Day Conference is to update and educate DON GCPC and GTCC A/OPCs on recent legislative, regulatory and policy changes to include the Government Charge Card Abuse Prevention Act of 2012; to educate new A/OPCs, and to provide fresh insights and best practices for managing the DON GCPC/GTCC program and delinquencies. There is no exhibit floor, no general session, and no provided food. Command A/OPCs are afforded the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas while networking with peers; to share best practices, compare management techniques, and receive information for improving the management of each Command GCPC/GTCC program encouraging continuous performance improvement within the DON.

What am I allowed to accept in gifts when at the forum?
While attending the GSA SmartPay Training Forum, all federal government employees must adhere to the Standards of Ethical Conduct issued by the Office of Government Ethics (OGE). GSA wants to ensure that any gifts offered to employees during the forum, do not result in violations of the OGE regulations for acceptance of gifts.

A federal employee may not accept a gift worth more than $20 during the span of the forum from each GSA SmartPay contractor and the card brands. Food and drink (other than modest items of food and refreshments, such as soft drinks, coffee and donuts, offered other than as part of a meal) are also considered gifts under the OGE sponsored outings and promotion items.

How much is parking at the Marriott Marquis Washington, D.C.?
The hotel has limited valet parking only at a rate of $47 per day. Attendees are encouraged to take public transportation to and from the hotel.
